I booked a stay on booking dot com. Nobody told me they were renovating before I arrived. I tried to stick it out for a few nights but the room they put me in started to stink of paint fumes. I explained the issue and offered me a refund but told me I had to go to booking dot com. I called booking dot com and they told me the hotel has to handle it directly. To date, I haven't been able to get the hotel on the phone. Basically, I feel like I got scammed and that I'm now being given the run around. It wastes my time and it's quite frustrating. I'm disappointed. This could have been an easy solution, but both sides are pointing the finger at each other.

Extremely worst and unprofessional experience from Thee Bangkok hotel. I booked 4 rooms 3 months in advance at this hotel and they cancelled it when the travel date approaches very near. And they didn't even contact us nor apologize they are trying to provide us an alternate property at the same price which is far from the central location. Basically what I understand is that they are first offering their rooms at a reasonable price to confirm their booking to planned people and when your date of travel will come closer then they will cancel your booking with an option to fulfill their sister group hotel which is not at prime location. Cheap marketing tactics by this hotel . Due to this I booked another hotel at a high price and this time I went for a global brand chain hotel where we can trust them. I will never recommend anyone to trust this hotel and strictly not book your stay here. They are not trustworthy.

I stayed in 2 other hotels for the same price and this was my favorite one among the 3. Room: I stayed in both types of rooms. One is street facing with lots of sunlight but you can hear traffic noise even on the highest floor. The back rooms from #6 and up are more quiet, but have no windows. So it's better for sleep. Bed was soft and comfortable and AC was cold even on lowest settings. Water pressure from shower was decent for hot/cold water. Gym: Is tiny can fit no more than 1 person comfortably. Thankfully I was the only one ever using it. Staff: Reception to be as accommodating as possible. When I was switching rooms they let me know so I didn't have to wait and was able to switch rooms directly. House keepers/cleaners always greeted me with a smile. Location: Only 2 minutes from main road about a 8 minute walk to ASOK BTS and 10 minute walk to Terminal 21. Finally remember to bring 1000 baht as a deposit! I would stay here again next time I'm in Bangkok.

I booked at room with this hotel far in advance and they cancelled it (after prices on other hotels had already gone up). They offered an alternative hotel about 30 minutes away claiming it had 'similar rooms'. This is not a reasonable alternative since one of the appeals of this hotel is the excellent location in the Sukhumvit area. No explanation or apology was given by the hotel for the cancellation of my booking. While others seem to have had a good experience with this hotel (once they actually get the chance to stay there), I would advice fellow travelers to avoid booking a room here due to their unprofessional approach to customer service. Sometimes these circumstances may be unavoidable. Howeer, at the very least, the hotel should have sent an apology, an explanation for the cancellation, and a SUITABLE alternative option (not 30mn away, but in the same area, since that is a major part of the appeal of their hotel).

Basic room. There was only one side table but the room was big with windows. Old school room locking system with a key . Location was ideal near Asok Station and in btwn two 7 elevens shops. Delivery of food is allowed
